Is it a part of the challenge to find out for the input to be not filtered? I am trying to view a certain page, but cannot to go one folder down like usually by using dots "../page.php"

You do not have to exploit it in the way mentioned. Look at what you have done already and try ... something. Very very hard to give hints without giving it away
