Use this thread for discussion about this challenge. What do you think about it? Do you want more of those programming challenges?

Well. Yes I would say make some more. But I would also say 'not too many' Rankk is a great site but once I got to the level where EVERY challenge is a 'solve it in this time limit' challenge - i lost interest.

Make some more. Don't go overboard ;)

Remember you can always ask me for help on ideas or building challenges. I have many, many rolling around my head as you know from the season 5 crypto I showed you the other day.

But in short - yes, I love the challenge :)

regards,

sabretooth

Sure, thank you.
Yes I'm talking about 2-3 similar challenges like this in this season.
And maybe 2 more difficult in season 6.

Personally, I like these kind of programming challenges. So, I wouldn't mind seeing some more :D

Keep up the good work.

It's difficult to gauge accurately whether or not a Programming Challenge is good. Some require certain software, and some are impossible to solve when using certain programmes.

I recommend against programming challenges such as Captcha bypasses, and image programming would probably be a bad idea in general.

This, however is a very fun challenge and I am looking forward to seeing more in the future! :)

Keep up the good work!

This makes no sense to me at all.
The idea of programming challenges is that you make your OWN program to solve it, not download one

To my knowledge, none require 'certain software' and all can be solved with a homemade program.

oh and as you speak of 'image programming' watch this space we already have things planned ;) And in contrast I think image coding is a great idea :D

I'm meaning that some programming challenges produce errors forn certain programming languages. For instance, a challenge could easily be solved in C++, but completely unsolveable if attempted in Python. Don't you remember that talk we had the other day sabretooth. ;)

A != B is not the same as A! = B
Confusing, but true. ;)

afaik most prog challenges can be solved in most languages.

that is enough :)

most programming languages can handle for loops, while loops, increments, decrements, functions, and boolean operands, theres not any major differences.
