It exactly states what is done with it in PHP

but of course you can do it in whatever way you like

Firstly, I tried to insert the solution as MD5

Yes thats correct. if you know the two values which are appended then it should be no problem

Otherwise google for '$_SESSION php' and '$_COOKIE php'

whats with the session... do I have to emulate the phpsession's string of the password we need, plus MD5?

well the session just refers to your username

so the string that has to be submitted is different for every user.
