So, I've finally decided to upload an avatar, but ran into a few problems.

When I tried the first option to upload the avatar from my computer, I got the following error:

Warning: move_uploaded_file(./images/avatars/190943110148475d88b5b70.jpg): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/www/web453/html/forum/includes/usercp_avatar.php on line 286

Warning: move_uploaded_file(): Unable to move '/home/www/web453/phptmp/phpF4G2QV' to './images/avatars/190943110148475d88b5b70.jpg' in /home/www/web453/html/forum/includes/usercp_avatar.php on line 286


Then, the second option to upload the avatar from a url resulted in this:

Could not write avatar file to local storage. Please contact the board administrator with this message

Finally, the third option to link to an off-site avatar seemed to work, until I looked at the Ranking page and saw that "/forum/images/avatars/" is being prepended to the image url, so the avatar doesn't show either.

Can't a girl get her avvie? :wink:

I think I know where the problem shows up, maybe with the permissions after the directory change. Thank's to say that :)
Or if it doesn't works I'll write you and you can give me the pic I'll put it in manually. But this isn't the way I want it to run =)
Can't check it out now because I'm at work :(
If sabre didn't fixed it till then I'll do it tonight.
